Terms of Use for Structural Engineering Services

This page defines the rules that apply when you engage Benedictesunda for load-bearing analysis, technical blueprints, or structural review of logistics warehouse projects. Read these terms before submitting drawings or signing a scope of work.

Scope of Services

Benedictesunda provides structural engineering deliverables: load calculations, member sizing, foundation recommendations, and CAD-ready blueprints for large-scale logistics facilities. Each engagement is defined by a written scope document that lists the specific structures covered, the applicable Australian standards, and the review stages included. Work outside that scope requires a separate agreement.

Client Responsibilities

You are responsible for supplying accurate architectural drawings, geotechnical reports, and details of intended racking or automated systems before analysis begins. Incomplete or outdated input data may delay the review and can change the outcome of load calculations. Our engineers rely on the documents you provide and are not liable for errors originating from missing or incorrect site information.

Revision and Approval Process

Draft blueprints are issued for internal comment before final certification. Each revision cycle is limited to the number of rounds stated in your scope document. Additional changes requested after approval are treated as a new revision and billed under the agreed hourly or fixed arrangement. Final drawings are released only after written acceptance from your project lead.

Limitation of Liability

Our liability is limited to the fees paid for the specific deliverable in which an error occurred. We are not responsible for consequential damages, including construction delays, equipment losses, or operational downtime caused by decisions made outside our documented recommendations. This limitation survives termination of the agreement and applies to the full extent permitted by Australian law.

Intellectual Property

All blueprints, calculation sheets, and analysis reports prepared by Benedictesunda remain our intellectual property until full payment is received. Upon settlement, you receive a non-exclusive license to use the documents for the single project named in the scope. Reuse of the same drawings for a different site or a different building configuration requires a new engineering review.

Termination and Suspension

Either party may terminate an engagement with fourteen days written notice. If work is suspended at your request, deliverables completed up to the suspension date are invoiced and transferred to you. We may suspend active work if invoices remain unpaid for more than thirty days, with reinstatement subject to cleared payment and a revised schedule.

Changes to These Terms

We may update this page when our internal procedures or regulatory obligations change. The version published here at the time you sign a scope document governs that engagement. Continued use of our services after a revision indicates acceptance of the updated terms.
